Getting Started:
The first step is to get FrontPage loaded on your machine!
You can gather content for your site starting with
a basic outline and then the information for the sub-pages.
OK, I loaded FP, now how do I get to my site to work
on it?
For FrontPage 2000
Open FrontPage. Choose FILE then OPEN WEB off the drop down menus. Then in the
OPEN WEB dialog box type in your web address with http in the Folder Name box -- like
this: http://YOURSITENAME.com. Then click on Open. The a box will
pop up for you to enter your login and password. Type them in and choose OK.
Then when the folders appears in the Open Web dialog box choose Open.
For FrontPage 2003
Open FrontPage. Choose FILE and OPEN SITE off the drop down menus.
In the site name box, type in www.yourdomain.com then open. You will
then be prompted for your user name and password.
That should put you in your site! Now you can
get started! Note: This option is working live on the internet.
You need to make a backup copy of what you have just changed.
